  • Due to not having a Spring Sale, we have roughly twice the amount of books as last time (October). All inventory from last sale was donated to a nonprofit so there is no holdover. A random "quarter day" (everything is 25 cents) for ONE DAY only will be introduced in the middle to encourage turnover. That would be communicated through our social media and email list.     •  ANNUAL DAYTON BOOK FAIR  - GIANT BOOK SALE!
    • One of the largest sales in the country! The Dayton Book Fair is expanding into a second building! All books will be on tabletops - nothing on the floor!
    • Even more books this year than ever, including an enormous number of books from the venerable Duttenhoffer Book Store in Cincinnati. 
    • We expect to have well over 200,000 titles in 75 different categories!
    • October 30 through November 1, 2026
      • Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
        • $20 Admission: Wrist bands go on sale Tuesday, September 29 at www.daytonbookfair.com/wristbands and admission is by numerical order. (It takes literally 90 seconds for everyone to get through the door!)
      • Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. FREE admission
      • Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. FREE admission
        • Sunday is bag day -- everything you can fit in our paper grocery sack for $10 (sales tax included)
    • Scanners are permitted but you must be polite to other shoppers!
    • User-friendly sale with great amenities:
      • Pleasant climate controlled environment
      • Ajacent free parking
      • We can pack up large purchases for you, but we encourage everyone to bring boxes.
